The Ohio State University, College of Engineering, William G. Lowrie Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering is seeking a Post Doctoral Scholar to work under the supervision of Dr. W.S. Winston Ho.

The Postdoctoral Scholar will primarily research membrane separations, focusing on applications such as carbon dioxide capture from flue gas, biosyngas purification, and hydrogen purification for use in electricity, chemical synthesis, and fuel cells. The role includes developing research findings, contributing to new and ongoing projects, and explaining previously unaccounted phenomena. Responsibilities also involve setting research priorities, conducting engineering research, recording observations, compiling data for analysis, reviewing literature, and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Additionally, the scholar will prepare research for dissemination through reports, papers, journals, books, and other formats, alongside other assigned duties.

Required Edcuation:
PhD in Chemical Engineering or a Related Field

Desired Education:
PhD in Chemical Engineering or a Related Field

Required Experience:
1 year of prior research experience on membrane separations

Desired Experience:
3 years of prior research experience on membrane separations
